Good Shepherd is a dynamic community of faith, drawn together through word, sacrament, and God’s call to mission. We welcome you to our worship services, ministry, and fellowship. We primarily use worship settings, liturgy, and hymns from ELCA’s Evangelical Lutheran Worship, and occasionally use music from other sources. Holy Communion is celebrated every week.
Since music has been a significant focus of the Lutheran tradition, Good Shepherd is committed to enhancing and strengthening the meaningful worship life of the congregation through a variety of both vocal and instrumental music. A historic organ provides the musical framework of most worship experiences, with significant contributions from the choir and instrumental ensembles. Through worshiping, praying, serving, dreaming, and growing together, we hope you will join us in a closer relationship with God.
In keeping with our welcome, Good Shepherd is a Reconciling in Christ congregation, affirming our welcome to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons to participate fully in the life of our congregation.
